Upline Shoebox Swaps

Good morning stampers!

This weekend I attended a Shoebox Swap at my upline, Becky's house. There were suppose to be 11 of us, but one person had to cancel at the last minute. Today I would like to share the projects that we made.

Here is the inside of Deb's card:

This next project may look familiar to some of you. Becky prepared this for all of us to make. She said it was a project that was shared at the 2014 Leadership Conference.

Here is a close-up of the tag.

And this last card was designed by me.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Perfect Pennants

Paper: Real Red, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White & Fresh Prints DSP stack

Ink: Coastal Cabana ink pad & Real Red marker

Other: Chalk Talk Framelits, Fashionable Hearts Embosslits, 1/8" Real Red Taffeta Ribbon, Decorative Dots EF (Sale-A-Bration item, coming soon!), Basic Rhinestones & Stampin' Dimensionals©

I hope you have enjoyed these projects. Be sure to come back tomorrow to see what the new Weekly Deals and Digital Downloads are.

Thanks for coming by and I hope you have a great week!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Good morning Stamp Friends!

I'm so happy to have a post for you today. I had a hard time getting back into the swing of things after Christmas. I made so many Christmas cards, I needed a serious break after the holidays. I finally made it back into my craft room the last week of January, as I was invited to stamp with some friends and I also joined a swap. (I will be back to share those cards/projects later.)

Today I would like to share the Valentine's that I made for my two sons classmates. I saw these adorable 3 x 3 cards on Wendy Hawkinson's blog, Got Rubber Will Stamp and decided to make them into Matchbook treats. (Wendy, Thank you so much for the inspiration! I know the kids will love them! My kids sure do:) They were simple to make, but a little time consuming as I cut out the excavator tops and put them on using Stampin' Dimensionals©.

The base was simple to make. I used a 8 1/2 x 3" piece of card stock, scored at 1/2", 4 1/2" & 4 3/4". I folded the bottom and stapled in the bottom of the M&M's pack. Then I wrapped ribbon around the bottom to hide the staple. You can actually get 3 of these out of one 8 1/2 x 11" piece of card stock!

Though there are only 10 pictured, I actually made 60 of these! I love the way they turned out:)

Supplies Used:

Stamps: I Dig You
Paper: Real Red & Whisper White card stock
Ink: Daffodil Delight, & Jet Black StazOn
Other: Owl punch, Silver Mini Brads & regular Silver brads & Stampin' Dimensionals©

Thanks so much for coming by today and I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

You're My Type Valentine's Thank You

Good morning Stamp Friends!

Today I would like to share a card that I made last Friday for a Make & Take at our Demo meeting. I've been seeing so many gorgeous cards made with this set. After seeing Lisa Foster's card, I knew I wanted to make something using the First Edition Specialty DSP and I loved her idea using the Mini Library Clips and Jewelry Tag punch. I also love how the DSP was used to make it look like something was typed on the paper. I wanted to use red, so I decided to go with Cherry Cobbler and used the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding ribbon. I also used the new Fashionable Hearts embossing folder from the Occasions mini catalog. Everyone loved the card.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: You're My Type
Paper: Cherry Cobber, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, & First Edition Specialty DSP
Ink: Cherry Cobbler & Black Stazon
Other: Fashionable Hearts Embosslits die, Jewelry Tag punch, Mini Library Clips, Cherry Cobbler Seam Biding ribbon & Stampin' Dimensionals©

Also, I wanted to share a photo of how I store my old style punches. My husband put up rails on the inside of the closet door for me to hang them on. Another way to maximize on space when you have a small room:)

If you look closely, you will see that I have a red dot on the punches that have retired. I do this so I won't accidently use retired items in workshops, demo swaps, etc.

Thanks so much for coming by today. I hope your day is great!

Cards to share!

Hello Stamp Friends!

This past weekend, I went to a meeting hosted by my up-line, Kathy and I wanted to share the beautiful Make & Takes we made. Since she just got back from Leadership, her downline each brought a card for everyone to make. The last one was made by Kathy herself.

Becky F.

Britta W.

Linda M.

Kathy W.

I love them all! Aren't they gorgeous? I always have the best time going to meetings. There's nothing better than Stampin' with friends:)

If you have any questions about the products used, please don't hesitate to contact me! Don't forget to check out the Promotions page at the top of my blog. I know the Navigation Bar is a little ugly right now (as the titles are jammed together). I'm in the process of getting help with that, but they do work:)

Thanks for coming by and I hope your day is great!

Designer Cuts Cards

Hello Stamp Friends!

I'm sorry it's been so long since my last post. I've been really busy trying to get my house back in order after the holidays. Including re-organizing some things in my craft room. I cleaned up my desk yesterday and it looked so clean that I couldn't help but sit down and mess it up really fast:)

One of the first things I bought in the Occasions Mini Catalog was the Designer Cuts Cards & Envelope set. I thought they were really pretty and couldn't wait to make something with them.

On the first card, I weaved Real Red 1/8" Taffeta ribbon through the holes and then just adhered a piece of Real Red card stock to the back. I had a hard time picking out a sentiment, so I wound up using the "With Love" stamp from the Hand Penned stamp set from the Holiday Mini, which is no longer available. I have my fingers crossed that we will see it again in the new Idea Book & Catalog on June 1st!

For the second card, I used the new Framelits Heart Collection. I used the heart that was a little bigger than the heart on the card along with Calypso Coral card stock and adhered it to the inside of the card. I wrapped 3/8" Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon around the front of the card and then used the new 1/8" Calypso Coral Organdy ribbon to tie on the cute little Trinket Key, which is available on page 200 of the Idea Book & Catalog. I thought it was a nice little touch along with the heart, which was added with a dimensional. It came from the new Fashionable Hearts Embosslits die.

This one is my favorite! What do you think?

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Grateful Greetings & Hand-Penned Holidays
Paper: Designer Cuts Cards & Envelopes set, Real Red & Calypso Coral
Ink: Real Red & Calypso Coral
Other: Real Red 1/8" Taffeta, Basic Rhinestones, 3/8" Calypso Coral Ruffled Ribbon, 1/8" Calypso Coral Organdy ribbon, Trinket Keys, Fashionable Hearts Embosslits die & Stampin' Dimensionals®

Sale-A-Bration begins tomorrow!

For each $50 that you spend, you will get a free item from the Sale-A-Bration brochure! See that cute little 1/8" Calypso Coral Organdy ribbon that I used to tie on the Trinket key? That can be yours for free with a $50 order! That's not all you get! It's a ribbon & brad pack! So you will also get a roll of Lucky Limeade organdy ribbon and a pack of brads!

Well, I guess I better get busy and get my desk cleaned up again:) I will be back soon with some photos of how I organize things.

I hope you have a wonderful day!!!

Card share with SAB Sneak Peak

Hello Stamp Friends!

In my last post, I promised to share the cards that I made at my upline meeting this past weekend.

This first card was made using the P.S. I Love You stamp set in the New Occasions Mini Catalog. We also used several other new products making this card. We used the new Blossom punch, the Adorning Accent Edgelits Dies & Textured Impressions Embossing Folders & Baja Breeze 3/8" Pleated Satin Ribbon. Isn't this pretty?

This second card has a combination of new products from the Occasions Mini and the Sale-A-Bration mini.

The ribbon, brad and DSP are items that will be found in the SAB catalog. Sale-A-Bration begins on January 24th. I can't wait!!!

Tomorrow I have a card to share using the new Mixed Bunch stamp set and the coordinating Blossom punch.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!
